A few snaps of  some of our gorgeous lamps that we are in store at the moment - the bottom lamps are actually made from tin and have been hand painted in NYC! All the shades are custom to Magnolia and we can have them made any style colourway you would like!

Bah Hum Bug

A little while ago we were asked to design some gorgeous Christmas tables for House & Garden Magazine.

They were to represent the essence of a Queensland Christmas and for us at Magnolia there is two types... a stunning formal Christmas Dinner table and then a laid back Christmas Summer Lunch table.

We hope you enjoy the the beautiful settings as they were a pleasure to create!

Colour Blocking

You must come in a treat yourselves to a pop of colour! We have just received our order of custom lamp bases in an array of fabulous colours, along with the pictures above we have French Navy, grey and bright green!

They are so fabulous and would liven up any space in your home!

Spring Time!

A Few tips to freshen up your home this Spring without breaking the bank!

- A good spring clean is necessary to blow out the winter cobwebs

- Plenty of fresh flowers and lovely big bowls of fresh fruit

- Add some fresh cushions to your lounge indoors and out to sharpen your look

- Consider a new floor rug and add a zing of colour with the Dash and Albert rugs

- Update your lamp shades to change the look of a room

- Shuffle your furniture around

- Get rid of daggy soaps and candles and start with new and clean like the new Gascoigne and King Gardenia candle

- Tear out all of your favourites out of all of your old magazines and create a look book of beautiful things

- Plant up pots of herbs and annual flowers for lovely bursts of colour and scents

- New bath towels and sheets make an incredible difference. If not, a good nappysan is the trick!

- Line dry all of your towels and bed linen to bleach them clean and fresh otherwise spray them with a fresh sea breeze linen spray from the south for France.

Lilly Pulitzer

Hello There...

Now I am sure you all know about the iconic Lilly Pulitzer who started her fashion label making gorgeous shift dresses from curtain fabric to cover juice stains while she made fresh juice for the people of Palm Beach. She fabulously shot to fame as her school friend Jacqueline Kennedy née Bouvier, now the first lady, was photographed wearing one of her designs!

She has launched her Lilly Pulitzer Home line of knock out fabrics that are absoultely gorgeous and available through us!

New York State of Mind!!!

So sorry for the lack of posts of late we have been so incredibly busy in store and with our decorating at the moment and completely run off our feet - which is a good thing!

The team has been jet setting to Melbourne and Robyn is currently in New York she has been heading there every year for the past 10 years and it never ceases to amaze her that she continues to find new and exciting pieces every time she goes!

She has found some fabulous pieces for the shop and also some unique finds specifically for our clients so keep checking back as we will let you know the minute they begin to arrive!
